NAIL SPRING RANCH
Sometimes, the best way to mind your business is to get away from it!
Welcome to Nail Spring Ranch, a 2,000-acre working cattle ranch with a long history rooted deep in the Klamath Basin. The ranch is located in the beautiful Langell Valley, 45 minutes east of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Homesteaded originally in 1893 by William Nail, and the namesake artesian well still feeds the ranch today.
The juniper and sage-covered high desert is truly an untouched part of Eastern Oregon's history and has welcomed pioneers and settlers for more than 150 years.
Nail Spring Ranch offers an incredible variety of micro-terrain; sagebrush plains and rocky gorges give way to juniper clad ravines and alpine meadows. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the ranch, alongside the Gerber Recreational Area of Klamath County and over 100,000 acres of BLM.
Getting the day started in the fully-equipped fitness center, or take in some early morning casts with world-class fishing. Spend the day navigating miles of trails, whether it be in a vehicle or on foot. Viewing some of the local wildlife, the Bald eagle, osprey, sandhill crane, and American white pelican are common birds found in the area. You can also often spot a bobcat, coyote, antelope, or even a few deer.
Venture out and experience some of the areas notable attractions such as, Crater Lake National Park, Lava Beds National Monument, or Upper Klamath Lake, which provides nesting habitat along the border of Oregon and California. The Lower Klamath and Tule Lake host upwards of 80% of the migrating waterfowl that use the Pacific Flyway, numbering at times to over a million birds.
